If you are a first-time visitor, we hope you will soon visit our church and join with us in pursuing the love and dreams of God.

Our Community

Diversity has a host of meanings at PSUMC. Diversity means “straight and gay, black and white, old and young, rich and poor,” the words of our Creed. It also means diversity of theological expressions. More about Our Community

Our Pastor

Reverend Herb Miller came to PSUMC in July of 2004. His ministry flows out of the deep conviction that Christ calls us to both an inward journey of prayer and study and an outward journey of ministry to a world in need. More about Our Pastor

Committees and Groups

PSUMC has many active committees covering all facets of the church’s life. We invite and encourage you to participate. More about Committees and Groups

Weddings and Holy Unions

We, the people of the Park Slope United Methodist Church, are committed to including all. To that end, our church has taken the following stand: Until all can be married within our church walls, none shall be married within our church walls. More about Weddings and Holy Unions

Church Building and Garden

PSUMC has a beautiful, oak‑wainscoted sanctuary that seats about 300 people, and an award‑winning garden used seasonally. It has stained glass at either end of the building. It has an organ, a small choir loft above the altar, an office underneath the loft, and a large basement level downstairs. More about Church Building and Garden
