Support Group for People Caring for Aging Family and Friends
We are a group of people who are involved in the care of elderly parents,
relatives or friends, near or distant. We get together monthly to share our
dilemmas, feelings and resource ideas, and to support one another through
difficult times.
During our meetings we update one another on our own particular situations,
finding it useful to hear others' insights, suggestions and sympathetic
humor, and always appreciate the sense that everyone has some idea of what
the others are going through. We usually meet at church on the first Sunday
of the month at 9:30 AM. The group is coordinated by Emily Damron, LCSW, and
