Announcements
- Gathering In Sunday - September 7th, at 11:00am. We encourage you to join us for worship as we reconnect, welcome back those who have been away for the summer, and celebrate the beginning of a new programmatic year for our ministry. Worship will be followed by a special reception in the garden and a Volunteer Fair to learn about our many activities.
- We invite you to bring some food to share for our special Social Hour for Gathering In Sunday, Sept. 7th. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.
- A Volunteer Fair will be held during Social Hour after church on Sept. 7. Stop by one of the many tables and find out about the different committees, programs and ministries.
- Sunday School begins September 14th! We invite you to bring your child to worship. Children will then move downstairs for Sunday School following the Children’s Sermon. For more information, please contact the church office or visit the Sunday School table at the Volunteer Fair.
- Mark the date for a special Taize program with Brother John of Taize who will be visiting with us from France. We will gather for Evening Prayer on Friday, November 7th and continue with workshops and prayer on Saturday, November 8th. This is a wonderful ecumenical opportunity for our PSUMC community to share with a Taizé brother, the Brooklyn church community and in solidarity with those around the world.
