Announcements
- Please help make our witness at this year's annual conference (June 11-14) the strongest ever. The United Methodist Church has slammed the door shut again in the faces of LGBT people (for details, see the related item on the "News" page). We must respond with holy boldness to defy the church's bigotry.
- A Saturday Lunch & Museum Outing to the Museum of Biblical Art will be held on Saturday, May 10th, starting at 10am. We will have a docent-led tour of the museum, spend an hour wandering the museum to take a closer look at items of interest, have a lunch, with discussion ending around 1:30pm. Donation of $7 is requested for admission. Contact the church office for more info.
- The PSUMC Annual Women's Retreat will be held May 16th-18th, Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, at the beautiful “Grail House,” just outside scenic Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY. We cook our own meals, hike, sing, laugh, enjoy the visiting deer and birds, share our joys and sorrows, savor the varied attractions of this lovely area, and renew our spirits! The price per person to cover food and lodging is $130.00. Registration forms are available on the back table at church.
