Reconciling Urges Vote for Video Featuring PSUMC

18 Dec 06

PSUMC's Reconciling Committee is urging everyone to go to the Current TV website and cast a "Greenlight" vote for “Tolerance Grows in Brooklyn” a video that features PSUMC's work around GLBT issues. With enough votes, the video will be broadcast on the Current TV network.

To give it your "greenlight" go to the Current TV web page where the video is displayed. You need to be a member of Current TV to vote, but membership is free and it takes about 20 seconds to sign up. Once you're signed up, click on “Give it the Greenlight.”

Join, vote, and please pass this on to friends, neighbors, colleagues, anyone and everyone and ask them to vote, too. People are also invited to write in comments. PSUMC has been mentioned this year in a book about progressive churches, A New Spiritual Home, by Hal Taussig. It has also been featured on New York Public Radio and will soon be cited in another book approaching publication. This is an exciting time for our work towards building an inclusive church.

UPDATE: The link for "Give it the Greenlight" has been replaced with "Being Prepared for CurrentTV". This may mean that it's been greenlighted. We'll keep you posted. Keep checking back.
