Next Support Group/Aging Friends Meeting Features Noted Author

On March 4th at 9:30 am, the meeting of Support Group for People Caring for Aging Relatives and Friends will feature guest Elinor Fuchs, whose experience may be helpful to people who are caring for strong elderly individuals - elders who are used to being the ones in charge.  Elinor wrote a short sensitive, honest, and often humorous book called Making an Exit which tells of her experience becoming her mother's caregiver as her mother developed Alzheimer's.  Elinor, who lives nearby in Brooklyn,  is a playwright, a professor of the Yale School of Drama, and has written for numerous publications including the Village Voice and the New York Times.
